Fusion360 Automatic Probing

The ability to program automatic probing from within the Fusion 360 Manufacturing environment is just one of Fusion's powerful features.  To use this facility on your machine requires support from both the post processor in your Fusion installation and g-code subroutines on your machine controller.

Here's a short video that shows what can be achieved.

The g-code macro files () required to support this are already installed in current versions of PathPilot and the post processor for Fusion 360 can also be found in the f360_probe folder in the PathPilot files tab.

More information on our post processor and description of each of the post processor options can be found on the Fusion post processor page.

You can also download the individual files from our SubVersion server.  Your browser can access the current versions using the info below and a Subversion client such as TortoiseSVN will be able to use the same information to view all previous versions together with detailed notes on each file.

Your browser will ask you for a user name and password.  Give the username as

and the password as

Both are case sensitive.  Download the pdf for instructions on how to install the other files available at that location.
